Why is there information missing from my report?
To redact is to edit, or prepare for publishing. Frequently, a redacted document has had personal information deleted or blacked out; as a consequence, redacted is often used to describe documents from which sensitive information has been expunged. You will need a court subpoena to request an unredacted copy of a report.
