Where can I get information on becoming a police officer?
Applications will be accepted for this position on a continual basis and will be reviewed every two (2) weeks. Testing will be scheduled on an as needed basis based on the number of successful candidates. Candidates are encouraged to monitor their email after applying, as all notifications regarding this position will be sent via email. Special Note: Requires non-standard or rotating shift work to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Incumbent works outdoors and is exposed to extreme temperatures. Must be certified as a Peace Officer in Arizona, or another state or federal agency. In order to be considered for employment with Lake Havasu City, applicants must submit an online application at www.lhcaz.gov and attach a completed Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZPOST) Packet.
